World 5-3 is the third level of World 5 of Super Mario Challenge from Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS. Course layout[edit]This level is a level where work is done in the main area, but work for the main area requires stuff from the sub area. At the beginning, the is a high wall. After doing the trampoline puzzle, it can be jumped over. There is a Bob-omb before the next pipe, but this Bob-omb can be used to get the trampoline by destroying Hard Blocks. After doing the P-Switch puzzle, the player can run past some coins safely. If the player has a spring while the P-Switch is active, they can get a 1-Up Mushroom. Coins block the exit until the P-Switch expires. There are Donut Blocks here to help get the player down. Next, the player must get past some Munchers. This can be done with a P-Switch if the lower path is done, but the player must be fast. Otherwise, the player must do the POW Block puzzle. After this is a Checkpoint Flag. If the player has a trampoline, they can get up high, but if not, they must do the Koopa Troopa puzzle and send a Koopa Troopa to a ? Block and release a vine. There is a Fire Flower in a ? Block above the other ? Block. There are 4 green Koopa Troopas here. If the player used the trampoline to get here, they can use their shells instead and get the trampoline up there with Mario, as well. If they have a Trampoline, getting to the top area will be easy. Otherwise, the player must do the Bob-omb puzzle to blow up Hard Blocks that block the lower part. Trampoline Puzzle[edit]The player must fall past a One-Way Wall. Then, place the trampoline from the pipe on a Hard Block then jump on the trampoline. Then, run against an Conveyor Belt then jump on another trampoline. Then grab the third trampoline and exit. P-Switch Puzzle[edit]The player must fall past a One-Way Wall, then use a P-Switch from a Pipe to get to the other P-Switch. The exit is below. It is possible to get the P-Switch and the next two puzzles without doing the puzzle, but it requires a Trampoline. POW Block Puzzle[edit]The player must fall past a One-Way Wall, then use a POW Block on a Big Muncher, then wait for another to respond, then get four small ones that block the exit with another one. Koopa Troopa Puzzle[edit]The player must fall past a One-Way Wall. Then, jump on a Red Koopa Troopa, grab the shell, go to the Hard Block, and throw the shell up; and a vine to another Red Koopa Troopa. Bob-omb Puzzle[edit]The player must fall past a One-Way Wall. Then, wait for a Bob-omb to come and use the Bob-omb to open the path to above. Then, use the Bob-ombs to blow up Hard Blocks to leave the area. Challenges[edit]

Mario Rabbids Challenge 1-3 Quantum Leap explained
Difficulty: Normal
Win Condition: Reach the Goal
Turn Limit: 1
Reward: 150 Coins, 2 Power Orbs
The aim is simple - have a single character reach the end goal. Your team is split apart across a map, with no way of reaching one another, or the goal in the distance.
You also have two Smashers next to one character, and it's these two that are the key to completing the challenge.
It's worth this is a Challenge you cannot brute force by waiting until your party is more powerful later in the game, and instead requires the right positioning to succeed.
If anything, having a powerful team is probably a disadvantage - you have to make a single shot, and as long as that doesn't trigger a status effect or kill the Smasher, the plan will unfold without a hitch.
Mario Rabbids Challenge 1-3 Quantum Leap solution
We used Mario, Rabbid Peach and Luigi in our team for this encounter, but whoever your team is doesn't matter.
First, switch character from Mario to the character down the path nearby (Rabbid Peach in our case). Move that character towards the Smashers, and shoot at the one furthest from the goal.
Doing so will cause the Smasher to move toward that character, placing the two Smashers closer together, forming a line towards the end goal.
Switch back to Mario and move Mario between the two Smashers, and attack the one that just moved (the one furthest from the goal). Doing so will cause it to attack, bouncing Mario over the other Smasher.
End your turn. The other Smasher will now attack Mario, simply because he is the closest character, bouncing him over the river and into the end goal.
Job done!

In theory, you could use these same tactics to move your party round the battlefield without the help of other characters, which is something to possibly keep in mind in future.
